In the Philippines, coconut palms don't grow in monocultures but in traditional agroforestry alongside mango, cacao and vegetables. The Mangangarit (sap collectors) climb the crowns daily and collect the blossom nectar by hand. It is then thickened at low temperatures. The result: pure coconut blossom sugar without adulteration. This is not a given. Coconut blossom sugar is frequently cut with cheaper cane sugar or corn syrup. Ours is 100% coconut blossom nectar.
Low-temperature processing preserves natural minerals such as iron, potassium and zinc. Organic certified to CH-BIO-038.
