How is calorie needs calculated?
The calculation is based on the Mifflin-St Jeor formula – one of the most accurate methods for estimating basal metabolic rate. Your BMR is multiplied by an activity factor to determine your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). The result is then adjusted to your goal (lose, maintain or gain weight).
